Independent Schools Australia have engaged AEC to undertake an assessment of the socio-economic benefits of Boarding Schools to the state/territory and national economies.

This information will be used in advocating for Boarding Schools to decision-makers and funders. In support of this assessment, Independent Schools Australia in collaboration with your state/territory Association of Independent Schools, would like your input regarding the main reasons parents and caregivers opt to send children to Boarding School, the alternative educational outcomes/ experiences for these children were they not to attend boarding school, and the benefits these children receive from attending Boarding School.

The survey will take less than five (5) minutes to complete. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and all responses will be held confidentially with no way to identify respondents. You may opt out at any time by exiting the survey. However, it is very important for us to learn your opinions. The survey will be available for participation until Friday, March 18th, 2022. 

About the survey
  • AEC is a research firm which works within the professional code of behaviour of the Australian Market and Social Research Society, its industry professional body. Once information processing has been completed, please be assured that your name and contact details will be removed from your responses to this survey. However, for the period that your name and contact details remain with your survey responses, which will be approximately six months, you will be able to contact us to request access to or correction of your information.   • This survey is conducted by AEC Group Pty Ltd on behalf of Independent Schools Australia.
  • You may remain anonymous and your responses are kept confidential. Personal information that may be collected is managed according to the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998. During the six month retention period, you are able to request access to or correction of your information.
